The United Way Day of Caring Harper Trail and Park Clean-up held June 24, 2022, was supported by over 50 people who spent the morning making the Park and Trail shine! What a great turnout!

The United Way Day of Caring was a great success at Harper Park June 24, 2022. About 50 people clearing trails, pulling ivy, weeding around the Harper Park sign, and much more. The morning wrapped up with a delicious lunch and a cool tee shirt!

Kudos to all who helped and gave their service!

Are you interested in helping keep Harper Park in great shape and/or improving it?

Kitsap Parks Department has a stewardship group for Harper Park. Interested citizens are encouraged to join monthly meetings to learn about park activities and to have a voice in what goes on at Harper Park. Meetings are held via Zoom on the 1st Wednesday of each month @ 6:30pm. The next meeting is July 6th.

While our Friends of Harper Pier Facebook group has existed for 10 years, in 2021 a website was created to highlight the many aspects of the Harper Pier community, recreational activities, history, and to present and discuss our advocacy on the Kitsap Transit Moorage issue. The website is also beneficial as a place to hold history and albums of photos. It also allows Friends of Harper Pier to provide information to Friends who do not use Facebook.

To send emails and timely announcements out to Friends of Harper Pier, we now keep an email list. You can sign up here. (Duplicate sign ups are not a problem. If in question, sign up again.)
